Congratulations to Our 2026 Valedictorian

We are proud to announce that this year’s Valedictorian is Tyra Shode. Hailing from North Providence, Rhode Island, Tyra is an extraordinarily driven student who serves as an exemplar for her peers by approaching every task with clarity of purpose and a deep determination to succeed.

Throughout her high school career, Tyra has maintained an exceptional cumulative GPA of 4.42. While completing the Health Careers program, she also excelled as a Community College of Rhode Island Running Start senior, earning a perfect 4.0 GPA in her college courses. Her academic excellence has earned her induction into the National Honor Society, the National Technical Honor Society, and the Rhode Island Honor Society, and she has also been recognized as a Presidential Excellence Scholar.

Tyra is a bright, compassionate, and extremely motivated young woman whose commitment to excellence sets her apart. In the fall, she will attend Northeastern University to pursue a degree in nursing. We are confident that she will bring the same intelligence, empathy, and leadership to caring for others as she has displayed throughout her time here at Davies.
