Dear Davies Community,

Wildfires are no longer just a crisis in Los Angeles—they are a growing threat across the country, including Rhode Island. In just three months, 10,000 homes in California were lost, and fires in the Carolinas and New York this March prove that more communities are at risk. Dry conditions continue to fuel this danger, affecting not only homes but also our air quality and environment.

As 11th-grade Pre-Engineering students, we have studied the urgent need for wildfire prevention and relief. When one community suffers, we all feel the impact.Our mission is clear:

• Raise awareness about wildfire risks in Rhode Island.
• Promote preventative measures to keep our communities safe.
• Advocate for stronger policies to prepare and protect our state.

But we can’t do this alone. We need your voice.
