Meet Elisbeth Aguocha Our Davies SkillsUSA Chapter President

Her role: As President, she enjoys helping students and working with the Davies SkillsUSA team to keep our chapter running smoothly. As part of the team she organizes meetings, assists competitors, and fundraises to support students traveling to State and National events. SkillsUSA is a team effort, and she is very proud to be part of a group that supports each other.

Her SkillsUSA Experience: She’s been involved in SkillsUSA since 2022, beginning her freshman year. Since then, she has held multiple leadership roles within the Davies SkillsUSA chapter. Throughout her time in SkillsUSA, she has been committed to promoting SkillsUSA and encouraging students to compete in competitions and be a part of the Davies SkillsUSA chapter. 

What are your goals for this year's competition? 
Elisbeth: My goals for this year's competition are to confidently demonstrate my skills and perform at my highest level under pressure. I believe this is achievable through consistent practice, patience, and a strong commitment to improving every day. Beyond personal growth, I aim to place at the competition and earn the opportunity to advance to Nationals. Ultimately, I want to leave the competition knowing I gave my best effort, strengthened my skills, and gained valuable experience that will benefit me in my future.
