This week, our 10th-grade Cybersecurity cohort welcomed Patrick Laverty, a Lincoln resident and experienced cybersecurity professional, for an engaging classroom visit.

Mr. Laverty has been a Penetration Tester and Social Engineer since 2016, holding certifications including Certified Social Engineer Penetration Tester (SEPP, now CESE), OSCP, and CEH. With years of experience in risk analysis and penetration testing consulting, he shared valuable insights about the cybersecurity industry and the real-world skills needed to succeed in the field.

Students also had the opportunity to showcase what they’ve been working on in class and gain feedback from a seasoned industry professional.

A big thank-you to Mr. Laverty for taking the time to connect with our future cybersecurity experts!
