Fall Sports Tryout Information

Fall Sports is right around the corner with Football beginning on August 14 and all other fall sports beginning on August 18! If you have not already, please make sure the following has been completed & turned in to the Athletics Office in order to be eligible to participate on the first day of tryouts for your respective team:

-Assumption of Risk Form (a hard copy must be filled out and turned in as this is a notarized document. This form should only be completed by 9th graders or first time student-athletes. If you have participated in a sport at Davies before, you should already have this completed)

-Physical (a copy of your Physical that has been completed in the last year must be turned in and on file with the Nurse's Office)

-ParentSquare Registration completed (form completed and copy of your insurance card submitted in the form).

Try-out information for each team is as follows:

BOYS & GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

Head Coach: Coach Smith (hsmith-coach@daviestech.org)

First Day of Try-Outs: Monday, August 18 from 2:00-4:00pm

Location: Outside of Gymnasium Doors

FOOTBALL

Head Coach: Coach Cabral (hcabral@daviestech.org)
Equipment Pick-Up: Wednesday, August 13 (8am-12pm) & Thursday, August 14 (10am-12pm) in Room 013
First Day of Try-Outs: Thursday, August 14 beginning @ 2pm

Location: Football Practice Field (Softball Field)

BOYS SOCCER

First Day of Try-Outs: Monday, August 18 from 5:00pm-7:00pm
Location: Soccer Field

GIRLS SOCCER

Head Coach: Coach Amaral (athletics@daviestech.org)
First Day of Try-Outs: Monday, August 18 from 5:00pm-7:00pm (August 22 tryout will be held from 9am-11am)

SIDELINE CHEER

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

First Day of Try-Outs: Monday, August 18 from 1:00pm-3:00pm (August 19 & 20 tryouts will be held from 8am-10am)
Location: Davies Gymnasium

Student-athletes are responsible for their own transportation to-and-from for the first week of try-outs. Athletic late buses will begin on the first day of school, August 26.
