Davies Admissions Process
Davis is located in Lincoln, Rhode Island, and serves approximately 850 students from Central Falls, Lincoln, North Providence, Pawtucket, Providence, and Smithfield. As a four year comprehensive and career school, we offer both academic and career-focused studies.
How to Apply
Picture yourself at Davies.†"Future Student Night," held each November, allows parents and 8th grade students the opportunity to learn more about our classrooms and career programs, and meet faculty, administration, and future students. Parents and students may tour each of our ten career areas ("shops"), or focus only on those of most interest.
Take an entrance exam. Davies requires students to successfully pass entrance exams in reading and math (the Stanford 10 Diagnostic Test). Exams are given on Saturdays in November and December. You may register for the exam at Future Student Night or on our website.
Send us your application. After sitting for the entrance exam, fill out an application. (See your middle school counselor or click here to download an application.) We must receive your application no later than February 1. Students who did not sit for the Stanford 10 Diagnostic Test will not be considered.
