School Announcements
Davies' "Project Playhouse" Delivered to Bryant U
On April 28, Davies attended the official unveiling of "Project Playhouse" at Bryant University. Davies was one of four local high schools that designed a playhouse to benefit A Wish Come True foundation. To complete the "Writer's Retreat" house, Davies worked with 8-year-old Tiverton resident, Ava Milukas, who helped Building and Construction students design the house.

Through the summer, Ava will travel with the house, as well as her book ("Ava's Guide to Having a Wonderful Life"), to sell raffle tickets and books, all to proceed A Wish Come True Foundation. The house will make an appearance on The Rhode Show, and at other local events. CLICK HERE to read the Providence Journal article and watch their posted video to see some familiar faces!

For the visit, students toured engineering and manufacturing facilities, received an overview on sonar equipment by an acoustic engineer, and learned about underwater defense technologies.

Students also had an opportunity to discuss class projects with Raytheon engineers by giving presentations on their program at Davies.
